Patmos

Patmos Church is located 2 km from the corner of Esso, the main Sokoine Road leading to downtown Arusha. The church is located in Sokon one County, a church street, behind St. Pallotti Church and the Lutheran Church, on the road to Nakido School and Terezza Nuzo. It is one of the churches located under Bethel Worldwide Church and the headquarters of other churches, a Pentecostal church serving members from different parts of Arusha such as Sokon one ward, Olasiti Ward, Muriet Ward, Osunyai Ward, central town. and outside Arusha Kisongo. In 2000 the current bishop along with the late elder Amani Minja and Modest Mmanda. They started a service at the Unga limited Primary School building with 15 members at Ngarenaro Ward in Arusha Municipal. where they rented it and later managed to buy it. In 2006 this small church successfully expanded and built the existing church where it was inaugurated by an old church friend Keith from England. To date, the church of Patmos has about 300 members. On the spiritual and physical side, the church of Patmos has succeeded in strengthening the members spiritually and physically where there are new members who are saved and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior of their lives, conducting gospel meetings and gospel seminars from invited ministers from within and outside the country, within the church and strengthening members spiritually and physically. The church has also been providing assistance and services to vulnerable children, widows, oprhans and widowers where it was provided since 2010 when it reached 2017 that service was temporarily suspended due to various challenges. This church has a Nursery that has been around for over 20 years providing services to children in and out of the church.
